So the WK2 has phenomenal interior dimensions for the work I do. Unfortunately, everything fits so close to the limits that I fantasize about owning something slightly bigger. However, I love this thing and I’m delighted that I got this instead of the truck I had planned on buying. By the way, I used to move all this stuff in a 2006 Kia Rio Sedan (I took out all but the driver’s seat).

These five cases make 20ft of 3-tier risers for bulk deli meat cases.

A bunch of product I had to move from a store that is being closed (old and the building’s rent got out of hand).

This is about 3-4 months of sandwich labels (12 varieties on this pallet) for 21 stores.

This is just a bread display rack.

And, here’s what I do (one of the smaller stores I merchandise for):

Thought I’d share because...I’m tired, I don’t know.

Last week of August I got a 2012 Grand Cherokee and sold the Rio to one of the dealership mechanics. So I have a V8, RWD, 6-speed WK2 and a 2006 Kia Amanti. Love them both! The WK2 has already gone from 32k miles or so to 65k miles in that short time.

I love WK2's. I’ve had a few as rentals. They are really great all-around cars - perfect size, good ride, decent fuel economy, versatile. I looked at them briefly last car purchase, but I really couldn’t afford one.

One thing I will say - RWD in the mud gets hairy. Make sure if you want a 4x4 rental tell Enterprise you want a 4x4, not a “Jeep” I was already quite a ways off road one time before discovering there was no 4wd selector switch on the dash.

Whenever I see a vehicle that has backseats that lay completely flat liks that, I tell myself, “I am going to buy that, keep a sleeping bag and pillow in the trunk, and I will never pay for a hotel ever again.”

Then I remember that I have to do things like shower, poop, brush my teeth...and also realize that I was considering spending thousands of dollars on something that doesn’t allow showering or pooping, which is an expense that I spend maybe $200 a year (maximum) on. So it would literally take me decades to recoup the cost of the vehicle purchase through hotel savings that are minimal at best and extremely inconvenient at worst.

The hoops that the mind of a wagon enthusiast jumps through to justify a purchase can really be silly, sometimes.
